Because your Becelli pieces deserve the best

Every Becelli piece is carefully made by hand, right here in Ghana, using quality fabrics and thoughtful detailing. With a little extra love and care, your pieces will stay beautiful for years to come.

Here’s how to keep them looking their best.

Washing & Cleaning

1. Hand Wash Preferred
Most of our pieces do best with a gentle hand wash in cold or lukewarm water.
Use a mild detergent and avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.

2. Machine Washing
If you must use a washing machine, always:

Turn garments inside out
Place them in a laundry bag
Use the gentle or delicate cycle
Wash with similar colors

3. Dry Cleaning
Some structured or lined pieces (like corsets, tailored blazers, and certain co-ords) are best dry-cleaned only. Check the product tag or contact us if you’re unsure.

Drying

Lay flat or hang to air dry in a shaded area.
Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause colors to fade.
Never tumble dry heat can damage delicate fabrics and trims.

Ironing & Steaming

Use a low to medium heat setting when ironing.
Always iron inside out to protect prints and embellishments.
For delicate fabrics like satin or organza, use a pressing cloth or a steamer instead of direct heat.
Corseted or boned pieces should be steamed upright rather than ironed flat.

Storage Tips

Hang structured pieces (like corset tops and blazers) on padded hangers to maintain shape.
Fold lightweight items neatly to prevent stretching.
Keep your wardrobe dry and cool away from humidity and direct sunlight.
Store delicate fabrics in breathable garment bags, not plastic ones.

Special Notes for Our Signature Pieces

Corset Dresses & Tops:
Spot clean when possible. Avoid soaking the boning or structure. Always air dry flat.

Co-ord Sets:
Wash both pieces together to maintain color consistency.

Luxe Fabrics (Satin, Organza, Lace):
Handle gently avoid rough jewelry or surfaces that may snag the fabric.
